The Detroit Lions parted ways with Titus Young yesterday because they didn’t like his attitude. Now they are set to cut Stephen Peterman because they don’t like his cap number.

The move will save the Lions about $3.2 million according to Birkett.

The Lions have a number of internal options to fill the spot created by Peterman’s release. Offensive tackles Riley Reiff and Jason Fox have the ability to play guard. The Lions also have Rodney Austin, who spent 2012 on the practice squad, and Bill Nagy, who spent the year on IR after being claimed off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys.
