For the Detroit Lions, Sunday’s game will mark the end of a disappointing 2012 season. For the Chicago Bears, Sunday’s game marks an opportunity to keep their 2012 season from ending in disappointment.

The Bears need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive and while the motivating factors for each team suggests the Bears could roll to an easy victory, the sports books are expecting a close game. The early betting line has installed the Lions as just three point underdogs to the Bears.

The Bears defeated the Lions in a defensive struggle at Soldier Field on October 22. The two teams combined for just 20 points as the Bears won by a final score of 13-7. The books are expecting a few more points this time around with an over/under set at 44.5 points.
