The Tennessee Titans have not had a great season. “Not great” would be putting it kindly when referring to today’s performance against the Green Bay Packers. The Titans were down 55-0 before they finally got on the board to make it a 55-7 loss.
Were any Titans fans even paying attention at the end to see that touchdown? If they are like Titans owner Bud Adams, the answer is no. According to The Tennessean, Adams couldn’t finish watching.
Titans owner Bud Adams was so discouraged with Sunday’s game against the Packers, he turned his television off before the 55-7 debacle was finished.
“I was pretty upset,” Adams said from his home in Houston. “I just didn’t want to watch any more of that mess.”
“That mess” played all four teams in the NFC North this year and the results were terrible. The Titans finished with a 1-3 record against the NFC North this year while being outscored 173-78.
The problem for us as Lions fans is that the Titans one win and more than half the Titans scored against the NFC North came at the expense of our team. Just another pathetic anecdote that speaks to the level of disappointment of this season.
