It comes as a shock to no one that Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals is not the premier matchup of the weekend. With the Lions losers of five straight and the Cardinals enduring a nine-game losing streak, this is the sort of matchup the networks would love to bury at the back end of a season.

Still, FOX Sports is sending their number five broadcast team to call the game in Glendale. Not bad considering FOX will broadcast eight games on Sunday.

Chris Myers will be on the play-bu-play and will be joined by analyst Tim Ryan, his usual partner in the broadcast booth. They aren’t exactly the most dynamic duo (warning: Gus Johnson will be calling Vikings at Rams), but I have felt they do a solid job without getting in the way or distracting from the action.

Kickoff will be shortly after 4 p.m. ET on Sunday.
