Corey Williams' Season is Over, Detroit Lions Bring Back Andre Fluellen

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Corey Williams has battled knee trouble all season long but that season has now come to an end. The Lions placed Williams on injured reserve, a move that was announced yesterday and made official today.

It will be a familiar face taking Williams’ spot on the 53-man roster. The team has signed Andre Fluellen, who spent the previous four season with the Lions before being released prior to the 2012 season. He spent some time with the Miami Dolphins this season, appearing in two games before being released.

The Lions announced another minor defensive line move. Defensive tackle Jimmy Saddler-McQueen has rejoined the practice squad. Defensive end Ken Adams was released to make room for Saddler-McQueen.
