Detroit Lions Rule Out Amari Spievey and Corey Williams

Amari Spievey (concussion) and Corey Williams (knee) did not practice all week and have been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Packers. Spievey hasn’t played since the Lions faced the Chicago Bears last month while Williams will miss a second straight week.

Louis Delmas (knee) was the other Lion to miss the entire week of practice and while he hasn’t been officially ruled out of action, his chances of playing appear slim as the Lions have listed him as doubtful. If Delmas can’t go it will be the third straight game he has missed after playing three straight following the Lions’ bye week.

The Lions listed Calvin Johnson (knee) and Chris Houston (ankle) as questionable to play on the week’s final injury report. Both practiced on Thursday and Friday but were limited.

Cliff Avril (concussion, back), Erik Coleman (toe), Jason Hanson (foot), Ashlee Palmer (chest) and Titus Young were limited participants at Friday’s practice and have been listed as probable to play on Sunday.

The NFL defines status designations as follows:
Out = Player will not play
Doubtful = 25% chance a player will play
Questionable = 50% chance a player will play
Probable = 75% chance a player will play
