If the Detroit Lions’ performance in their Monday night loss to the Chicago Bears wasn’t enough, they now have a season ending injury to add salt to the wound.

Nate Burleson left the game with what initially looked like a knee injury. It turns out it is a broken leg and Burleson will miss the rest of the season.

The Lions will now have to rely more heavily on Titus Young and Ryan Broyles, a scary proposition prior to tonight’s game. Fortunately, both had their best games of the season. Let’s hope they can continue that progression going forward.
