Jacob Lacey Ruled Out, Bill Bentley Doubtful for Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions ended last week’s game against the Eagles with just two healthy cornerbacks and it doesn’t look like they’ll enter their week 7 game against the Bears much better than that.

The Lions’ final injury report has already ruled Jacob Lacey out of action on Monday night and fellow cornerback Bill Bentley’s doubtful status makes him unlikely to play as well.

The news beyond Lacey and Bentley is significantly better.

Corey Williams was held out of the teams final practice but is listed as questionable. Assuming his knee reacts well coming off a limited week of practice, he could play in Chicago.

Cliff Avril, Louis Delmas, Brandon Pettigrew, Stephen Tulloch, Titus Young and Ronnell Lewis are all probable.

The NFL defines the game day status designations as follows:
Out = Player will not play
Doubtful = 25% chance a player will play
Questionable = 50% chance a player will play
Probable = 75% chance a player will play
