The Detroit Lions finished their week of practice a day later than usual due to their appearance on Monday Night Football this week. The good news is that the team will enter their matchup with the Bears relatively healthy.
Jacob Lacey remains out after suffering a concussion last week against the Eagles. Corey Williams was the only other Lion to miss practice today. He returned to the practice field this week after undergoing knee surgery last month. He was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday so his status for Monday night is unclear. The Lions withheld Louis Delmas from the final practice before last week’s game and he was able to play. We’ll have to wait and see if they are taking a similar approach with Williams.
Bill Bentley (shoulder), Cliff Avril (back), Brandon Pettigrew (knee), Stephen Tulloch (knee) and Titus Young (knee) practiced but took less than their normal number of reps.
Louis Delmas (knee) and Ronnell Lewis (eye) were also listed on today’s injury report but were full participants at practice.
