Matthew Stafford Practices for Second Straight Day

Concerns about Matthew Stafford’s ability to play this weekend were relieved when he returned to practice yesterday. The belief that he will play against the Vikings is further reinforced by the fact that Stafford was practicing with his teammates again today.

Stafford was officially listed as a limited participant when the official injury report came out following yesterday’s practice. An upgrade to a full participant would remove any doubt as to his status for Sunday’s game.

Tony Scheffler was also able to practice for a second straight day after missing last week’s game and Wednesday’s practice. He is dealing with a calf injury but also figures to play on Sunday.

Louis Delmas (knee) and Travis Lewis (quad) are still not practicing and probably won’t play this week. Corey Williams was also out, although he has already been ruled out of Sunday’s game after knee surgery.
