Detroit Lions Open as Early Favorites Over Tennessee Titans

Next up for the Lions is a trip South to play the Tennessee Titans. It will be a homecoming of homecoming of sorts for Jim Schwartz who spent ten years as the Titans’ defensive coordinator before being named head coach of the Lions.

The early betting line favors the Lions by three points to send Schwartz back to Tennessee as a favorite.

Sundays game between the Lions and Titans is a matchup of teams that have disappointed in regards to the spread through two weeks. The Lions are 0-2 against the spread this year after playing a closer than expected game against the Rams and falling by eight to the 49ers. The Titans are coming off two consecutive blowout losses, 34-13 to the Patriots in week one and 38-10 to the Chargers.

At a relatively small three point spread, look for the Lions to pay out this week.
