Rams and Lions Draw FOX's Number Five Broadcast Team

The Detroit Lions matchup with the St. Louis Rams in week one of the 2012 NFL season is not exactly one of the opening weekend’s marquee games. As a result, FOX is sending their number five broadcast crew to Detroit.

Chris Myers will be on the call while Tim Ryan will accompany Myers in the booth as the game’s analyst. Jaime Maggio will be roaming the sidelines to provide updates from field-level.

Sunday is shaping up to be a big NFC North day on over the air television in the Detroit and St. Louis markets. In addition to the Lions game against the Rams, fans in the Detroit and St. Louis areas will be able to watch the Chicago Bears host the Indianapolis Colts on CBS in the early time slot. FOX leads off the season with the Sunday doubleheader and will show the Green Bay Packers hosting the San Francisco 49ers in the late time slot to most of the country, including Detroit and St. Louis.
