The Lions played from behind most of the day and their comeback attempt started with a fumble and touchdown for the Raiders. Undeterred, Matthew Stafford threw two late touchdown passes to lead the Lions to a 28-27 victory that put their playoff destiny in their own hands. The game winning score capped off a 98-yard drive that took just 1:35 to complete. Stafford threw for 391 yards and four touchdowns with Calvin Johnson the leading beneficiary with nine catches for 214 yards and two touchdowns.
