The Detroit Lions have received a lot of negative attention this offseason for a rash of arrests. The issue was addressed with the team during OTAs but one young Lions failed to take the message seriously and got arrested twice in the last month.
That player is no longer a member of the Detroit Lions.

The message clearly wasn’t getting through to Berry and the Lions finally decided he wasn’t a headache worth putting up with despite appearing to have the inside track to starting at cornerback opposite Chris Houston. The Lions will likely turn their attention to a training camp battle between Alphonso Smith and the group of three rookies drafted last April.
