Lions, Schwartz agree to multi-year contract extension

The Detroit Lions have agreed to undisclosed terms with fourth year head coach Jim Schwartz on a multi-year contract.

Schwartz had one year left on his rookie head coach contract and Lions fans were beginning to wonder when, not if, will the Lions lock up Schwartz for multiple years. Lions fans can enjoy their weekend even more now that this question is finally answered.

The team will not release any information publicly about contract specifications; however, the terms are expected to be leaked and SLR will update you with any information regarding number of years the contract is for, how much money the contract is worth, and if there are any special terms in the contract fans should be aware.
