Getting back in the good graces of the Detroit Lions coaching staff will be a process for Titus Young but his early response to the discipline following his altercation with Louis Delmas has been positive.
He was reportedly unstoppable during today’s organized team activities and he continues to say the right things. Young hasn’t talked about the incident directly but he has talked about addressing it with the team and moving on. Some quotes from today:
#Lions WR Titus Young “I felt personally it was important for me to get it off my chest and get the burden off my heart” on apologizing

Titus Young talked today: “I felt my spirit wasn’t right. This is a family here. What we have is bigger than me or any individual player.”

I wrote previously that words are just words and it would take actions and a period of time to show that Titus Young has truly learned from the experience. That remains true although his attitude and performance in these offseason workouts inspires confidence that we will eventually look back with the ability to definitively say this was a growing experience for Titus Young.
