Detroit Lions Agree to Terms with Ronnell Lewis

The Detroit Lions have signed another member of their 2012 draft class. Ronnell Lewis becomes the second rookie to sign after fellow Oklahoma Sooner Travis Lewis agreed to terms yesterday.

Ronnell Lewis is a “tweener” defensive end/outside linebacker but figures to play mostly defensive end for the Lions and contribute on special teams.

News of this nature is sure to start rolling in with the new collective bargaining agreement taking much of the negotiating process a formality and with the Lions beginning a rookie mini camp tomorrow. Jonte Green could be the next to agree as he and the Lions are reportedly close to wrapping things up.
