The Detroit Lions have made their sixth selection of the 2012 NFL Draft and they did so after trading up with the Oakland Raiders:

Who: Chris Greenwood
What: Cornerback
Where: Albion
When: Round 5, Pick 13 (148 Overall)
Why: The Lions add another player at a position of need. The Lions got a great chance to see Chris Greenwood up close at their workout for local prospects at the team’s facility. He has good size and is very athletic. A raw prospect due to his level of competition but gives the Lions a lot to work with. Good high-end potential in just the fifth round but a developmental player that will push to contribute on special teams early in his career.
