Should the Detroit Lions Draft Janoris Jenkins?

The Detroit Lions have a need at cornerback and Janoris Jenkins has talent at cornerback but is still available. His off the field issues have reportedly led some teams to drop him off their draft board entirely. It isn’t known if the Lions are one of them but if they aren’t, should the Lions take a chance on Janoris Jenkins?

Taking risks on players noted for having character concerns has been a mixed bag of results. At some point Jenkins’ talent will outweigh the character concerns and a team will send the card with his name on it to the podium. What pick that turns out to be and which team makes that call is one of the most intriguing aspects of day two of the 2012 NFL Draft.
