It will no be based on need Elias, although I agree with you 100% on what they currently need. This is actually pretty realistic in my opinion based on who may drop and talent that will be available late. I hate the Edwin Baker pick because the Lions will be looking for a quick back to catch passes out of the backfield and be a threat, not another inside runner. Look at Bobby Rainey (WKU) in the 7th round. I otherwise like this draft, nice job.

sidelionreport.com :don't see the scense in drafting a lot of these players… with a lot of guys dropping on the boards due to off field issues I think there is going to be a lot more risky talent like mike adams late in 5th on and the CB issue I think can be addressed later probably going to pick 2 of them. RB may stretch to get James or a dynamic kick return and speed guy to take over when best has another concussion. don't think that they will waste a pick on a WR either. realisticly they will pick an OT and OG to develop for a year or two 2 CB's a RB a LB and a DE.

Nah, the only guy in this list who I'd really like to see the lions drafting is Zach Brown.
