Calvin Johnson Still Alive in Madden 13 Cover Vote

The athlete on the cover of the next Madden video game will be determined by a fan vote for the second consecutive year and a Detroit Lion is still in the running. Calvin Johnson beat out Matthew Stafford to be the Lions representative in the tournament-style voting process then defeated the Chiefs’ Dwayne Bowe by a 92% to 8% margin after more than 500,000 votes were tallied.

Today marks the start of the second round of voting which continues through April 4. Megatron is now matched up with Texans running back Arian Foster, who is actively asking for votes. The tactic apparently works – Foster beat out Tim Tebow in the first round.

You can either go vote for Calvin or look like an idiot by campaigning against him because of the so-called “Madden curse”. Also, voting for Arian Foster is agreeing with Colin Cowherd. Just saying.
