Matthew Stafford Named AP Comeback Player of the Year

Matthew Stafford was snubbed for the Pro Bowl but he will be leaving Indianapolis with some well deserved hardware.

From the Detroit Free Press Lions twitter account:

Matthew Stafford wins Comeback Payer of Year “This is a team award. You win something like this, it takes all 53 guys in the locker room”

Stafford won the award with 21 votes while Cleveland’s D’Qwell Jackson finished second with 15. Alex Smith, Steve Smith, Elvis Dumervil, Andre Carter and Eli Manning rounded out the voting.
