Never fear, the most visible Lion will be back Tuesday on “SportsCenter Special: NFL Face to Face with Hannah Storm” (9 p.m., ESPN2).
The Detroit Lions made a huge turn around this season by going 10-6 and making the playoffs as the six seed. They were finally worth watching, with an electric passing game and a great defensive line. Although, some additional needs were exposed, especially in both games against Green Bay and in the playoffs against the Saints.
It will prove to be a big challenge for the Detroit Lions to sign Calvin Johnson to a contract extension this offseason, but Bill Ford Jr. sounds like the team is up to the task.
