Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford emerged as the winner of the Comeback Player of the Year Award for 2011 in the wake of a Lions season that saw industrial strength numbers, late-game comebacks, another amazing year from a guy called Megatron and a long-sought playoff appearance.

The Titans shuffled their front office earlier this week, but cornerback Cortland Finnegan isn’t sure the moves will change anything.

He remains pessimistic about his chances of returning to the team in 2012.

It has been 27 seasons since Billy Sims suited up for the Detroit Lions.

But fans in Bay City are still buzzing about the impact he made on their team.
