@Detroit87@ChrisSheppard

I havnt watched less than 13 games a year since I was 4yo and watched 15 of the 16 games in our 0-16 season so yeah i know what im talking about. I know we can win now. But you just said we need exactly what I did. We need better db's. If its a choice between avril on a front that is currently stacked. or using that money to help with a secondary that is argurably one of the worst in the NFL. I know which id like to see. Our running game was only bad cause of a injury to who was supposed to be our bruiser every down back. and then best going out with the concussions. I expect our running game to be slightly better next year, if anything our running game getting alot better will be getting a better line. Because our line just cant push people around enough to make those holes for them to run through.

@Detroit87 if the choice is between paying avril 13 million a year. or taking that 13 million and getting 2-3 quality 4-5 mil a year players. Imagine the lions signing Brandon Carr and Courtland Finnigan with the money that they didnt pay avril. All of a sudden we have 2 good cornerbacks and our front line gets time to get to the QB since opposing qb's cant just drop back 3 steps and throw 50+yards down the field to wide open recievers anymore.
