NFL Picks: Saints at 49ers, Broncos at Patriots

The NFL playoff schedule features two interesting games today. The New Orleans Saints are road favorites while the Denver Broncos head to New England as big underdogs.

On with Saturday’s picks…

New Orleans Saints (-3.5) at San Francisco 49ers
I’m a believer in San Fran’s strong defense and while they should be able to hold the Saints under their season scoring average, I don’t trust the 49ers offense to score enough points, particularly touchdowns, to go with the home underdog. I’ll take the Saints giving 3.5 points.

Denver Broncos (+13.5) at New England Patriots
The Denver Broncos are this weekend’s biggest underdogs so I’ll gladly take the points. Why? Because all Tim Tebow does is win:

OK, the Broncos probably won’t win this one outright but as long a they can keep the final margin under two touchdowns, were winners with this bet.
