Green Bay Packers' First Loss is Good News for Detroit Lions

It has been a few weeks since talk about an undefeated season from the Green Bay Packers started to pick up. Experts looking for potential losses on the remaining scheduled looked to a road game against the New York Giants and the two divisional games against the Detroit Lions.

Well, the Green Bay Packers are no longer unbeaten and it came at the hands of one of the more unlikely opponents. The Kansas City Chiefs. The Lions may not have done it but it is good news for them just the same.

The Green Bay Packers will now have nothing to play for when they host the Lions in week 17. The only motivation they could have had left was to complete an undefeated. It is possible the game means little to nothing to the Lions as well, but if it does the Lions will have the advantage of playing a team that is just looking to stay healthy.
