I think the majority of the stadium couldn’t tell there was a facemask so obviously the crowd was elated during and after the play…however, the exit of the stadium was truely unique. Normally, if they win there’s chanting “Let’s go Lions” and the like in the concourse and on the way out of the stadium. In a normally loss there’s smart-ass comments or ticked off fans screaming. Leaving yesterday, there was dead silence. Very weird.

Me: Was that a facemask?

Friend: It looked like it

Me: But the game is over, right? The Lions won.

Friend: I think so

Me: I’m still not quite sure what exactly happened.

By the time this brief confused back and forth concluded the FOX broadcast had gone to commercial, easing my fears that what I thought to be true would actually be reversed. Very strange but as the next Lions opponent likes to say, “Just win, baby!”
