Lawrence Jackson Out, Louis Delmas Doubtful for Detroit Lions This Sunday

It may be just Thursday but Detroit Lions defensive end Lawrence Jackson has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. It doesn’t look good for Chris Houston and Louis Delmas, either. Both are listed as doubtful with knee injuries and no Lion has played yet this year after being listed as doubtful on the last injury report of the week.

Justin Durant missed a second consecutive day of practice thanks to a hamstring injury and Nick Fairley (foot) has been out all week but both are officially listed as questionable to play on Sunday. Kevin Smith is also questionable but reportedly left practice after testing his ankle today.

Rob Sims (shoulder) and Willie Young (ankle) practiced all week on a limited basis; both are probable to face the Vikings.
