NFL Picks: Week 10

Before I get to the picks for week ten, let’s take a quick look back at my picks for week nine:

Atlanta Falcons (-7) at Indianapolis Colts – WIN
San Francisco 49ers (-3.5) at Washington Redskins – WIN
Buffalo Bills (-1.5) vs. New York Jets – LOSS
Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) vs. Baltimore Ravens – LOSS
Cincinnati Bengals (+3) at Tennessee Titans – WIN
Season Record: 10-9-1

Without further ado, here are my five picks, including the Lions game, for the week.

Detroit Lions (+3) at Chicago Bears
I expect the well-rested Lions to play well and in what I expect to be a pick ‘em game, I’ll take the points.

Cleveland Browns (-3) vs. St. Louis Rams
This week’s slate of games is a tough set to pick. I’m not a huge fan of the Browns here but the Rams have issues and their win over the Saints was a fluke. Back to reality.

Baltimore Ravens (-6.5) at Seattle Seahawks
The Ravens finally showed a competent offense to compliment their defense in last week’s win over the Steelers. The Seahawks are an inferior opponent and the Ravens should take care of business.

Arizona Cardinals (+14) at Philadelphia Eagles
The Cardinals aren’t very good and the Eagles, while underachieving, have all the components necessary for a blowout. That being said, 14 is a lot of points to give in an NFL game. I’ll take my chances with the points.

Cincinnati Bengals (+4) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Gotta love a home underdog, especially when that team is tied for the division lead. This is a chance for the Bengals to officially put themselves in the contenders category.
