Detroit Lions DE Cliff Avril was a guest on NFL Network’s “Around the League Live” yesterday after a standout performance in his team’s 45-10 victory against Denver.
Avril recorded recorded two sacks, two forced fumbles, one tackle for loss, one quarterback hit and returned a fumble 24 yards for a touchdown. He was also named NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Griffen Kramer, a backup quarterback at Thousand Oaks, was found dead Sunday at a friend’s house in Agoura Hills, school officials confirmed Monday. Kramer was 18.
Kramer is the son of former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer.

Zac Snyder got hooked on the Lions after his dad took him to a Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Raiders in 1990. The show put on by Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson that night was only surpassed by what Zac could do with Barry in a game of Tecmo Super Bowl.
