When the Detroit Lions got off to their first 5-0 start since 1956 this fall, it was a great time to be a fan.

And even though Detroit has suffered back-to-back losses to San Francisco and Atlanta entering today’s contest at Denver, Owosso’s Brian Brooks believes it’s still a fantastic time to be a Lions fan.

The Dallas Cowboys made an unexpected roster move Saturday, cutting running back Tashard Choice. The fourth-year running back has been a colossal disappointment this year, rushing for just 75 yards on 28 carries in six games.

If the Broncos are to pull off a home upset today, they likely will have to attack the Detroit Lions’ vulnerable run defense.

The Broncos will dress only two tailbacks — Knowshon Moreno and Lance Ball — for their game today against the Lions at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
