I'd guess every Lions fan thinks their 2011 season hinges on Stafford's health. How could we not? It's forced down our throats anytime the Lions are mentioned by any commentator for any reason. It's a bit overblown, to say the least.

I was surprised his first two years. He had a powerful throw but surprisingly wimpy looking arms. This year, he looks noticeably different physically and should make a difference, in his resiliency.

We have a natural tendency of thinking that what has happened in the past will happen in the future, ignoring basic rules of cause & effect. Unless we think deep down that Stafford suffers from some kind of medical condition, it's more likely his past injuries are the result of circumstance or poor conditioning. Sure it could happen again, but so could anything else. I'm personally been considering the impact of an injury to Suh or Calvin. Nobody talks much about that, but losing them would also be disastrous.

I think we, as Lions fans, owe it to ourselves to put the Stafford injury fear to rest. Something special is happening this year. It'd be a shame to not be able to enjoy it out of an irrational fear of the past repeating itself.

There should be a third choice on the poll for "Kinda".

I do NOT think about it at all...until he's hit. The TB game he was almost untouched, the KC game got popped a few times. So I would say "kinda" is my answer to the poll...but there isn't a button!
