ESPN Panel of Experts Unanimously Predicts a Detroit Lions Victory

Detroit Lions fans are expecting a win this Sunday and it seems like all the experts agree. ESPN’s eight person panel of experts has unanimously selected the Detroit Lions to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

Unlike last week, man and machine agree. AccuScore has the Lions as a 74% to 25% favorite after running 10,000 simulations. Only Pittsburgh and Green Bay are heavier favorites according to AccuScore. Madden 12 simulation agrees with the Lions emerging the victor and predicts a big day for Matthew Stafford. Here is what ESPN had to say about the Madden simulation results:

Looking for a story that will make you smile? Try the turnaround of the Detroit Lions. Matthew Stafford throws for 337 yards and three touchdowns, Calvin Johnson catches nine balls for 151 yards and two scores, and the resurgent Lions start the season 2-0 by beating down the Chiefs, 30-17.

When everyone is running one way it is usually smart to run the other way. Does all this Lions love make you nervous or more confident?
