Caleb Campbell Apparently Joining the Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts need help on defense. They trailed the Houston Texans by a score of 34-0 at halftime and that has nothing to do with Peyton Manning.

It now appears that the Colts are enlisting the help of Caleb Campbell who tweeted the following at about noon today:

Hello Indianapolis #Colts.

Chris McCosky speculates that Campbell could be joining the practice squad in Indy:

Looks like Caleb Campbell has hooked on with Colts. Practice squad I’m guessing.

Campbell was originally a seventh round draft pick of the Lions out of Army in 2008 but had to serve two years to fulfill his military requirements. He spent the majority of last season on the Lions’ practice squad and was among the final cuts this year.
