Jim Schwartz joined Doug Karsch and Scott Anderson for his weekly segment this morning on 97.1 FM in Detroit. Here are a few quick bullets from the interview.
- The team isn’t paying attention to playoff predictions. They will get up and go to work every day and the end of the season will take care of itself.
-Wide receivers give the team a lot of flexibility with match ups, gives Linehan a lot of options.
- Schwartz wants to wait until after real games are played to form an opinion on the new kickoff rules. Kicks that do get returned will be more important.
- Offense built around Matthew Stafford’s skill set. Defense will help him by not forcing him to make questionable decisions because of confidence in them.
- Nick Fairley doing a little bit more every day but a timetable will not be set.
