		<description>You basically said it, there is absolutely no connection between preseason performance and regular season performance. I personally hate preseason. My contention is that the only things that can happen in preseason that have any bearing on the regular season are preseason injuries. I realize the need for preseason when it comes to individual evaluations, by the coaching staff, in determining a team&#039;s final 53 man roster. I understand the need to get into game shape and start experiencing the hitting that is going to begin in the regular season. But to put scores on scrimmages between two teams in preseason is ludicrous. The whole notion of first string against first string, first string against second string, etc, etc to get a measure on how a team would fare against that team in regular season is idiotic.</description>
