Second Half Rapid Reactions: New England Patriots at Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions 34, New England Patriots 10

  • Second verse, same as the first. The Lions showed their depth by continuing their relative dominance over the Patriots in the second half.
  • Ricardo Silva is one of those guys that might have to find work elsewhere in the NFL but has routinely shown a playmaking ability.
  • Kudos to the sold out Ford Field crowd tonight. They made noise all night long including late into the fourth quarter.
  • Did Jim Schwartz smile when the clock went to zero? Not sure, the broadcast cut away.
  • I was prepared to not get too down if tonight didn’t go well and not too high if it did but I’m having some trouble tempering my enthusiasm.
