Jeff Backus is back.
The Detroit Lions activated their starting left tackle off the active/non-football injury list today, and Backus took part in his first practice of training camp.
Jahvid Best said he felt a little “woozy.”
He’s not alone. His possible concussion on the Lions’ first play from scrimmage Friday night in Cleveland inspired more than a few wobbling knees. There must be legitimate concerns now that Best is developing the same injury-prone reputation as quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Anyway, what are we to make of our pet cats, the Lions? After two exhibition games I honestly have as many questions as answers.
It’s been widely reported that LT Jeff Backus has returned to practice. This is a good thing, right?
