With Detroit Lions preseason play just over a week away, it is time to start thinking about how you can see the team in action. Road games will be broadcast live while home games are subject to blackout rules. Affiliates outside the 75 mile radius will get the game live. Fans in Michigan and Northwest Ohio can find the Lions on the following stations:

Detroit: WXYZ 7 (ABC)
Grand Rapids, MI: WXMI (FOX 17)
Flint, MI: WNEM 5 (CBS)
Lansing, MI: WSYM (FOX 47)
Traverse City, MI: WFQX (FOX 33)
Escanaba, MI: WJMN 3 (CBS)
Toledo, OH: WNWO (NBC 24)

If you’re out of state or miss the game at its normally scheduled to air (live or tape delayed) you’re not out of luck.

NFL.com is once again offering their NFL Preseason Live package that allows fans to stream every preseason game live over the internet. A subscription will cost you $19.99 now or $39.99 after preseason games start.

NFL Network also provides opportunities to see all the preseason games. The schedule of airings was recently released, here is when you can see the Lions on NFL Network (all times Eastern):
Lions vs. Bengals – August 13, 10 a.m.
Lions at Browns – August 21, 10 a.m.
Lions vs. Patriots – August 28, 2 a.m. (note: I think this is technically actually 8/29)
Lions at Bills – September 3, 7 a.m.

Of coure, you could always attend the games in person.
