Monday: The lockout officially ended so I put together a few thoughts on what it meant to me.

Tuesday: Tom Lewand did the media circuit and Nate talked about the Lions doing the right thing.

Wednesday: Ross discussed two special teams battles to watch during camp and I didn’t worry about a trade to send Donovan McNabb to Minnesota.

Thursday: There was some disappointment in learning Johnathan Joseph was taken off the market by signing with the Houston Texans but at least the Lions were able to sign their entire draft class prior to the opening of camp. Yeah, it was a good week.

Friday: It was good to see the Lions back on the field and even better to hear that the team was sharp in their first practice. If only Alphonso Smith hadn’t broken his foot…
