Drew Rosenhaus Plays Twitter Game Concerning Stephen Tulloch and Detroit Lions

Drew Rosenhaus is an NFL agent. In other words, his job is to promote his players. He took an interesting route concerning one of his clients, Stephen Tulloch.

Rosenhaus tweeted the following:

The Detroit Lions have never offered Stephen Tulloch a $10 million signing bonus or contract worth $6 million per year.

Anyone that knows anything about Drew Rosenhaus has to immediately figure he’s playing games, not providing information.

It is important to note that Rosenhaus doesn’t say the Lions didn’t make a strong offer. He could be completely truthful even if the Lions have offered a $9.5 million signing bonus on a $5.8 million annual salary. Or he could be straight up lying.

I wouldn’t doubt that Rosenhaus threw this out there to stir up a little trouble or just some regular talk about his client. After all, the Tulloch talk has seemed to quieted down over the last day or so. His tweet that immediately preceded the one in question here says the following:

Jared Gaither has not agreed to contract terms with the Raiders.

Other sources on twitter indicate that an agreement is imminent. Rosenhaus may not have been lying, but he wasn’t fully representing the situation in an accurate manner.

Hang on, this is all part of the roller coaster ride.
