The Lions will stay the course with Stephen Peterman, Rob Sims as their starters at center and guard but they retained some depth in the interior of their offensive line by re-signing Dylan Gandy. The official Detroit Lions roster lists him as a center but he can fill in at guard as well. Gandy is a five year veteran and was an unrestricted free agent but apparently found no reason to move on from the Lions.

The agreement was announced on twitter by his agent:

Congrats to OL Dylan Gandy who will be returning to the Detroit Lions on a 2-year deal

Gandy’s career began with the Indianapolis Colts where he spent three season before spending the last two with the Lions.
