He was the last player the Lions selected last April but he will be the first to sign his contract. Johnny Culbreath agreed to terms on Wednesday and will be in Detroit to sign his deal on Thursday according to the Detroit Free Press.
Seventh-round pick Johnny Culbreath, an offensive tackle from South Carolina State, said tonight he’s agreed to a four-year contract.
“I got my deal worked out,” Culbreath said. “I’ll be signing tomorrow.”
The Lions will continue working on deals with the rest of their draft class. The good news is that Nick Fairley has expressed an interest in reaching an agreement quickly and hitting the field with the rest of his new teammates.
