Stephen Tulloch is one of the top linebackers on the free agent market and teams are giving him a lot to think about according to a tweet he sent out today:
Decisions,Decisions,Decisions….Feels like being drafted all over again….
What kind of decisions does he have to make? It is beginning to sound like two teams are making a strong push and the Detroit Lions are one of them.
Adam Caplan describes the situation this way:
The two teams I’m hearing the most out of all of them on Tulloch are the Lions and Eagles.
It only takes a quick twitter search of “Tulloch” to find a whirlwind of speculation regarding his potential future with the Detroit Lions. Perhaps the most interesting thing about it is the chatter ranges from those with local interest (Michael Schottey):
I’m told Tulloch is weighing the offer seriously, but had been expecting an offer from the Lions like this for a while
…to those with regional/divisional interest (Sean Jensen):
As I said yesterday, LB Stephen Tulloch definitely a player of interest to the Detroit #Lions. Reunion with Jim Schwartz strong possibility
…to those with national interest (John Clayton):
Following the advice of N. Suh of the Lions, the Lions are trying to get linebacker Stephen Tulloch and a cornerback.
Adam Caplan added a little more following his initial Tulloch-Lions tweet with this:
I’m not a betting man, but wouldn’t be surprised if the Lions win the bidding on Tulloch. I’ll leave it at that.
