At least that’s the way ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. sees it in his recently released audit of NFC North teams.
Penn State picked up its first verbal commitment from a quarterback in two full years on Tuesday as Philadelphia signal-caller Skyler Mornhinweg announced for the Nittany Lions.
ESPN.com’s Dream Team of Tomorrow nominees included 10 Green Bay Packers, more than any other NFL team. The Detroit Lions were also well represented, but when editors asked me to predict the division’s dominant team in three years, there wasn’t much choice.
During the course of the offseason it has been very interesting to follow the Detroit Lions’ Super Bowl odds. Just last year they were complete long shots at best, but a good finish to the 2010 season has resulted in the Lions’ odds getting much better, especially over the course of this offseason.
