Lions rookie running back Mikel Leshoure is — as quarterback Matthew Stafford put it — “a big kid.” But Leshoure’s expectations, for now, are not so big. In fact, they’re downright miniscule when you consider they’ll be shouldered by Leshoure’s considerable 6-foot, 233-pound frame.
“No. 1,” Leshoure said last month about his rookie expectations, “just find a way to get on the field and make the team.”

Detroit Lions fans, the wait is almost over. The wait for a glimmer of hope. The wait for a ray of sunshine. The wait for stability, significant improvement and something to celebrate.
