Initially they ask me why, then I tell them how the Lions traded their first round pick to New Orleans to get Swilling. I tell them New Orleans used that pick to draft Roaf. Roaf later came to the Chiefs and gave them many years of Pro Bowl play. Roaf is why Larry Johnson became such a prolific runner. Once Roaf retired Johnson became a mediocre runner.
