More Good News in NFL Labor Fight

The NFL’s labor situation has been serious for some time now, serious for bad reasons. Now things are getting serious for all the right reasons. Last week’s secret talks have been followed by more talks this week. Albert Breer had this to say on twitter:

What I’m hearing on the NFL/NFLPA summit … “Very serious talks” on all levels — the timing, the format and the parties that are there.

And this:

… I’m gonna have a larger story tomorrow on all this. But for now … Believe it: We’re into a very critical phase of negotiations.

If things are heating up it would be reasonable to expect that the two sides are inching their way toward one another. That being the case, it is also reasonable to expect that the talks are quite volatile at this point in time. Let’s hope they keep talking if things hit a(nother) impasse rather than relying on the courts.

Stay tuned, boys and girls. This could be getting interesting.
