ESPN Panel Ranks Calvin Johnson as NFL’s Fifth-Best Offensive Player

The ESPN bloggers continued their lockout power ranking series by taking a look at offensive players as a whole, minus the quarterbacks. Calvin Johnson previously finished fourth in their power poll of wide receivers but was named as the fifth-best offensive player overall in the poll released yesterday.

It is interesting to note that CJ was able to jump Roddy White who had previously finished ahead of Johnson in the wide receiver rankings. Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald remained ahead of Megatron. Calvin made each bloggers’ top ten and ranged from fourth to tenth on the individual ballots.
